'UK-German Connection - bringing young people together' is dedicated to increasing contacts and understanding between young people in the UK and Germany. It is a bilateral initiative, which has been developed and established in collaboration between the UK and German governments, the British Council, Pädagogischer Austauschdienst and the Goethe-Institut.
The UK-German Connection, with the support of the Department of Education and the British Council, are offering a range of new funding opportunities for activities involving young people.

Grants for joint thematic activities in all curriculum areas, with or without a language element. Project themes are flexible, and the fund is designed to encourage young people to explore topics of their choice in an international context.
