INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING

The Youth Council is committed to ensuring that all its funding schemes are fair and transparent and meets the needs of the sector.

The Youth Council for Northern Ireland is presently engaged in a complete review of all the funding schemes that it offers. This root and branch review is presently being completed by an external body and it is hoped that the first draft of the funding options will be available for comment by the end of FEBRUARY 2007.

At present the Council has committed all its funds under each of the advertised schemes and cannot invite applications until after the new funding schemes have been agreed. It is envisage that this may happen in late 2007.
