CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT UNIT

The Youth Council has published a number of guidelines on aspects of youth work practice and was responsible for the update of the Curriculum framework document 'Youthwork: A Model for Effective Practice' (2003).

The Council is an active partner in the Curriculum Development Unit which was established to enhance and support curriculum development in youth work. The Unit supports youth workers through the publication of accessible, practical and useful curriculum resources, and through the advice and support of a dedicated curriculum development team.
