YCNI Members

The Board of the Youth Council for Northern Ireland comprises (10) persons appointed through the Public Appointments process.  In common with all public bodies, the role of the Board is essentially to provide leadership, vision, continuity of purpose and accountability to the public.

The Chairperson has a particular responsibility to provide effective strategic leadership.

Members appointed serve for a period of three years.  However, with the Review of Public Administration currently underway, the term of office of the present Youth Council has been extended to March 2008.
