Training is a distinct area of work of the Youth Council carried out by Mr John McCormick, Director of Youth Work Services and Deputising Chief Executive, and Mr Michael McAlinden, Training Development Officer.

TRAINING FOR YOUTH WORK
The Youth Council is an Approved Centre for the OCR accredited
Trainee Leader Certificate course.

It is also an Approved Centre for OCNNI accredited units under a suite of courses, generically called the Training for Youth Work Suite.
