Karim Fawzy (Egypt Society of NI)
Karim is a young man with energy, vision and a passion for football. He has started the 'Bright Future' project that aims to integrate young people from Egypt and other Middle Eastern countries with young people from Northern Ireland using sport. Karim secured funding from the Big Lottery, formed a football team for 10-14 year olds and arranges the weekly training, matches and venue. The project aims to build bridges between ethnic minority children and local children and the team are hoping to become part of the NI Football League.

RUNNER UP
Armagh Youth Office - Creativity Included Steering Group
Young people in the Armagh area chose Film Making as the means to having their issues more widely promoted. They worked with a professional artist to script and plan their films and engaged in the acting, filming, sound recording, special effects and post production processes. The group were aged from 13 to 20 years and included people with and without a disability. A film showcase was then organised by the five participating youth groups.
