This innovative project, carried out by the NI Youth Forum brought 70 young and older people together for an Intergenerational debate on the NI Bill of Rights.  The legacy for this project includes the development of strategic partnerships and ideas for curriculum development.

Ballybeen Action Project

Ballybeen Action Project
The completion of an Intergenerational Quilt provided the means for older and young people in the Ballybeen area to build trust and friendships between the two generations.

 

Rosemount Youth Centre

RUNNER UP
Rosemount Youth Centre
Young people from the Rosemount Youth Forum initiated a series of meetings with older residents where their concerns and fears could be voiced and addressed, thereby increasing understanding for both groups and a subsequent development of community pride.
