In addition, candidates will be expected to spend a minimum of 40 hours working with young people in a youth work or community setting over the duration of the course.

All candidates will be expected to complete a Personal Reflection Evidence Sheet for each Learning Outcome.
This programme consists of one Unit and contains eight Learning Outcomes.
These are further sub-divided into a series of tasks that they should be able to do, which are listed as Criteria for Assessment.
Candidates who successfully show they have achieved the Learning Outcomes will be awarded an OCN NI Certificate in the Training for Youth Work Programme, Level 3 Outreach and Detached Youth Work Unit.
