WORKING WITH OTHERS IN A YOUTH WORK CONTEXT LEVEL 3
COURSE DESIGN
The Working with Others in a Youth Work Context unit is a part-time, OCNNI credit-based qualification, which consists of approximately 15 hours of actual tutor/participant contact time.
In addition, candidates will be expected to spend time working with young people in a youth work or community setting to analyse, evaluate and relate what they have learned from the course to their youth work practice.
Further time beyond this will need to be spent completing associated non-contact tasks (eg. completing assignments, personal reflection evidence sheets, etc).
All candidates will be expected to complete a Personal Reflection Evidence Sheet for each Learning Outcome.
This programme consists of one Unit and contains four Learning Outcomes.
These are further sub-divided into a series of tasks that candidates would be able to do, which are listed as Criteria for Assessment.
Candidates who successfully show they have achieved the Learning Outcomes will be awarded an OCN NI Certificate in the Training for Youth Work Programme, Level 3 Working With Others in a Youth Work Context unit.
